Ritual kit

Ritual knife and sheath I made for a friend, getting into LARP, but I thought that I would rather use an... well, useful knife then something ridiculous. Anyway, he requested some sort of ritualistic sheath for the knife, and suggested that he want's his name inscribed on the sheath, and to use runes. I thought it was a bit daft, so... I came up with using this tribal-like pattern, which I think looks rather nice and fits more into "ritual-wear". I used soft leather to make the sheath, and also wrap the handle, then I pushed the pattern into the leather a bit and then painted it with acrylics, and then coated the whole sheath with beeswax, to conserve both the leather and the pattern. The kit also includes a small belt-pouch for things to care for the knife and leather, such as oil and whetstone, or some reagents for the rituals.
